Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic battled at Wimbledon on Sunday in what was an incredibly memorable final. Djokovic bested his opponent, taking home his seventh-career Wimbledon title, and his fourth in a row. After the match there were no hard feelings between the competitors, who notoriously had a bit of beef before their clash. When asked about how he fared in the match, Kyrgios had a brutally honest reply about Djokovic, via Lukas Weese.

Kyrgios didn't hold back with his assessment of Djokovic, not even hesitating to call the Serbian Superstar “a bit of a god.” The Australian need not hang his head after the defeat, as he played an excellent game, but was simply out-dueled by the world's No. 1 ranked player.

When asked if his first taste of a Wimbledon final gave Kyrgios some newfound motivation, he had a hilarious and surprising answer.

Kyrgios had the whole audience laughing after his response, and now that the tournament has come to an end, he'll get some much-deserved rest.

The underdog put on a quite a performance, earning valuable points with his devastating serve, that at times looked to be too much for Djokovic to handle. As is always the case in a Nick Kyrgios match, the Australian's temper was flaring throughout the match, and he was frequently shouting back at the crowd. Despite his efforts to get a supposedly drunk woman removed from the stands, Kyrgios even thanked the audience during his interview.

With Djokovic taking the top prize, Kyrgios will surely be disappointed, but he played admirably and gave the reigning champ a real run for his money. In all, as Kyrgios himself said, he felt he played well.
