Denver Nuggets president of basketball operations Tim Connelly went on the Jim Rome Show on Monday, and he challenged pundits to find players who impact winning more than Nikola Jokic.

While Jokic isn't a better player than LeBron James or Kawhi Leonard, Jokic has shown in these 2020 playoffs that he is a superstar and capable of being the best player on a championship-caliber team.

“We can debate who's the most talented. Certainly he's not the most athletic, it doesn't always look fluid or sexy,” Connelly said about Jokic, via Harrison Wind of DNVR Sports.

“But in terms of the impact on winning, I'd challenge you to find more than one or two guys like him.”

Nikola Jokic has simply been a monster in the 2020 playoffs for the Nuggets, who are trying to erase their second 3-1 series deficit.

Denver defeated the Utah Jazz in the first round of the postseason after falling down 3-1. Now, Jokic and Co. are trying to do the same thing against the second-seeded Clippers.

Through the first six games of the Clippers-Nuggets series, Jokic is averaging a staggering stat line of 25.8 points, 12.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists in 37.4 minutes a night. The Clippers have zero answers for the Joker, who has firmly established himself as the most skilled big man in the NBA since he makes passes no other center can make.

All the pressure in Game 7 is going to be on the Clippers. With that being said, look for the Nuggets and Jokic to play freely and calmly on Tuesday.
