The Denver Nuggets are the latest NBA team that could be affected by COVID-19. While many are already anxious about their condition, the recommended course of action that they should take is completely different from what the other teams who were in a similar situation when they suspected that they were carrying the virus.

As reported by Mike Singer of The Denver Post, health experts recommended to the Nuggets should stay isolated for at least two weeks so they can prevent the virus from spreading to vulnerable people in the Mile High City.

They were one of the last people who were able to play against the Utah Jazz before the season was called off, so it's very likely that they're already carrying the coronavirus. Nuggets star Nikola Jokic is also a likely carrier as he played against Gobert for extended minutes of that game.

While it's very likely that they're already carrying the disease, health officials are simply recommending to isolate themselves from friends and loved ones. The virus is transmitted through prolonged contact with a carrier, and preventing any form of interaction will prevent the virus from propagating to the greater population.

However, it's also likely that this course of action was taken due to the backlash that they got from people in the league. The United States is terribly short of COVID-19 testing kits, and people who need those tests aren't getting those tests. People all over social media are throwing flak at the league for the exclusivity of the tests.

Whatever the reason is for this recommendation, this will stem the spread of the disease. Fans are once again reminded to stay at home and not go to huge gatherings during the coronavirus pandemic.
