Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone knows exactly what will happen to his team if Jamal Murray doesn't show up. It's nowhere, really.

The five-year Denver coach is certain that for his team to have a chance against the Los Angeles Clippers, his starting guard needs to play better.

Murray had a poor shooting night (5-of-17) and ended up with just 14 points, as the Nuggets dropped Game 3 against the Clippers. Although he had nine assists to salvage his stat line, Malone knows that the they are not going anywhere without Murray's effectiveness on the offensive end.

“We're going nowhere without Jamal Murray and his offense and I am sure he will be better come Game 4,” Michael Malone said after the game, per Duvalier Johnson of Mile High Sports.

The Nuggets' major weapon so far has been their pick-and-roll play between Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic, which has worked wonders for them all-playoffs long.

Jokic, for his part, was incredible on Monday night with 32 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists.

Denver was seemingly in control of the game when the Clippers suddenly shifted to a new gear and made a huge run down the stretch. The Clips outscored the Nuggets 29-19 in the final quarter and ultimately took over behind another “Playoff P' performance from Paul George, who led his team with 32 markers.

Hopefully, Murray heeds his coach's call and bounces back strong in Game 4. The Nuggets will need another explosive performance from their backcourt leader on Wednesday as they try to even the series against the Clippers.
