Denver Nuggets starting point guard Jamal Murray is questionable to play when the team hosts the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday night.

Jamal Murray sprained his left ankle against the Phoenix Suns on Friday at home and was forced to leave the game. The sharpshooter didn't return, but the Nuggets still defeated the lowly Suns by a final score of 132-95.

In 47 games for Denver this season, Murray is averaging 18.5 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game. The 21-year-old is shooting 43.2 percent from the field, 36.5 percent from beyond the arc and 83.5 percent from the free-throw line.

Murray has two double-doubles on the season. The guard hasn't missed a game all season for the Nuggets, who enter Saturday at second in the Western Conference with a record of 32-15.

If Murray can't play versus the Sixers, Monte Morris, Will Barton and Malik Beasley will have to help Gary Harris handle the point guard duties. Luckily for Denver, their offense runs through star big man Nikola Jokic, so he has the ball in his hands a lot of the time setting up the offensive sets from the post.

Murray is second on the Nuggets in scoring, second in assists and probably the best perimeter shooter on the roster.
