Denver Nuggets head coach Mike Malone is fully aware of Isaiah Thomas' feelings towards him after cutting the guard from his rotation, and he's completely fine with .

Malone admitted that it's not a big issue that Thomas is pissed at him, saying that the reason behind it is not personal, per A. Sherrod Blakely of NBC Sports Boston.

“Listen, I know I'm not Isaiah's number one fan right now,” Michael Malone said after the team's win over the Celtics.

“He's pissed off. And I'm ok with that; I really am because I know it's not personal.”

Isaiah Thomas, who inked a one-year deal with the Nuggets over the summer, played for the first time in almost a year on Feb. 13 in the team's 120-118 win over the Sacramento Kings. The 30-year-old dropped eight points in 13 minutes — a seemingly good sign of things to come.

Malone bumped his time on the floor to 24 minutes in his third game back. While the Nuggets got the win, Thomas crawled his way to 10 points on 27.3 percent shooting and turned the ball over four times.

In the following games, Thomas' minutes were cut back down to 10-15 per night and his shooting numbers didn't show remarkable improvement. Thomas was eventually cut from the team's regular rotation.

Given Thomas' outspoken persona, Michael Malone is pretty much aware of what's going on in his head. Malone, a top candidate for this year's Coach of the Year, has shared before that his decisions are always for the team and not for certain individuals.
