Denver Nuggets guard Isaiah Thomas loves to argue with people on twitter. Especially when he knows he can prove them wrong.

Tonight, Thomas did just that:

Thomas claims that he's still “unguardable” even though he hasn't played one game for his new franchise yet. It will be interesting to see if he can live up to his words.

Isaiah Thomas gets a lot of criticism because, after his breakout year with the Celtics, he got injured and was never the same again. Even before Brad Stevens utilized him to the best of his abilities, Thomas had always been a solid point guard beforehand in Phoenix and Sacramento. Thomas isn't a slouch. He works hard – his work ethic is among the best in the league for someone so small.

Thomas is currently nursing an injury but hopes to be back the month of December, per the Denver Post.

The Denver Nuggets have been playing extremely well this season. They are 20-9 and first in the NBA's Western Conference under head coach Mike Malone.

The Nuggets have one of the best offenses in the NBA. Center Nikola Jokic is one of the best bigs in the league. He has so many post moves and such smooth touch and passes and vision like a point guard. He's the glue in an offense that's surrounded by shooters like Gary Harris and Jamaal Murry.

When Thomas comes back from injury he'll likely come off the bench as the sixth man. He'll add another spark to Denver's already elite-level offense.

The Denver Nuggets will face off next against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday at home.
