Within the first 24 minutes of the Western Conference semifinals, Malik Beasley of the Denver Nuggets produced one of the best lowlights of the year and a prime Shaqtin-A-Fool moment.

With the score tied 55-55 in the second quarter, Nuggets guard Jamal Murray stole an inbound pass from Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard. Murray raced down the floor with Lillard in hot pursuit, as Beasley streaked to the corner.

Beasley, however, will likely want to forget what happened next:

Malik Beasley somehow lost his footing, and a perfect 3-point chance went down the drain. Fortunately for Beasley and the Nuggets, they took a four-point lead into the half even with the unfortunate mishap.

The play is not representation of Beasley's season. He was very effective for the Nuggets off the bench during the 2018-19 campaign, backing up both Gary Harris and Murray in the backcourt. He averaged 11.3 points off the bench to go along with 2.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists.

Not only did Beasley provide buckets for the reserves, but he also did it efficiently as well, shooting 40 percent from 3-point territory and 55 percent overall.

Beasley finished the game with nine points on 3-of-7 shooting, and the Nuggets ended up getting a crucial Game 1 win. The dynamic back up will certainly take the win and be thankful that his embarrassing mishap will not end up in the box score. He will look to improve off the solid showing and avoid anymore Shaqtin moments.
