Ohio State wide receiver Chris Olave just broke the record for most touchdowns in a season by a Buckeye. Olave caught a 45-yard pass to take a 21-0 lead against the number seven Michigan State Spartans.

The Ohio State wide receiver has broken the record and he's in great company. He was able to break records that Michael Thomas, Ted Ginn JR, Joey Galloway, Terry McLaurin, and Santonio Holmes couldn't break.

The Ohio State Buckeyes look like they are one of the best football teams in the country and maybe the only team that can compete with the number one Georgia Bulldogs. Much of Ohio State's success this season is because of how good their wide receiver core is.

This is a big game for the Buckeyes against the Spartans as the winner of this will solidify themselves as a top-four team in the country. The Buckeyes were able to take an early lead in this one as they are up 28-0 at the start of the second quarter. CJ Stroud is already 17-18 for 245 yards and four touchdowns.

Chris Olave has proven this year that he's one of the best wide receivers in the country. He will be a first-round pick in the NFL draft. If the Buckeyes can hold onto this one, they will be in a good spot before they take on the Michigan Wolverines next week before the Big Ten title game. With how dominant they've been the past few weeks, it looks like they are going to cruise into the college football playoffs and have a chance to win a National Title again.
