Simone Biles just cemented her status at the greatest gymnast of all time. Biles just became the first woman to win two Olympic All-Around Titles since Vera Caslavska in 1964 and 1968. She earned the gold medal ahead of silver medalist Rebeca Andrade of Brazil and bronze medalist Suni Lee, also on Team USA.

Biles is also just the third women ever to win multiple gold medals in the All-Around and the first ever to accomplish the feat eight years apart.

Here is the moment when Biles won the Gold medal with her 15.066 floor routine.

Biles did not make it easy on herself. She made a major mistake on the uneven bars, which left her sitting in third place at the midway point of the competition. However, she responded tremendously by hitting a big routine on the balance beam, one of the toughest routines in the sport. Biles then put the competition to an end by crushing her floor routine.

This is Biles' second gold medal of the 2024 Paris Olympics and her ninth Olympic medal overall. The U.S. women's team brought home the gold on the team final earlier this week.

Simone Biles has an easy case for being the best gymnast of all time. Beyond her Olympic medals, Biles has won 30 medals at world championships.

Biles is also great because of her incredible work ethic and ability to overcome adversity.

This year's Olympics was a redemption tour for Biles after she withdrew from the 2021 Tokyo Games. Biles pulled herself out of the competition midway through the team final portion after she came down with a bout of the “twisties” — a phenomenon which caused her to lose her sense of where she was in the air during her twisting elements.

Many have learned about her struggle thanks to her popular Netflix documentary. Biles took a two-year hiatus from her career, but has returned better than ever in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

We couldn't be more proud of Simone Biles' historic accomplishments.
