The Boston Celtics are off to an encouraging start to the season after winning four straight games after dropping the first two games of their 2017-18 campaign.
Things could be trending further into the right direction as veteran forward Marcus Morris is nearing his return to the court as Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated reported that he is set to go through a G League assignment game on Monday night.

The 28-year-old has been steadily recovering from offseason sports hernia surgery that he underwent in late September. It had been expected that he would miss the first few weeks of the season as rookie Jayson Tatum has taken up the starting power forward spot in his absence.
That said, Chris Forsberg of ESPN has stated that Morris could make his debut with Boston in Wednesday's home game against the Sacramento Kings.

Morris was acquired over the summer in the trade that sent veteran guard Avery Bradley to the Detroit Pistons. He should step into a prominent role upon his return as the starter after he works himself back into the fold.
The seventh-year forward could quickly prove to be a valuable asset to the team with his ability to stretch the floor with his outside shooting ability and be a reliable scoring option.
