Philadelphia 76ers rookie Markelle Fultz believes he can shoot.
For the entire season, the strange injury in his shoulder has rendered his jump shot useless, as he's altered it so much that even head coach Brett Brown has told the media he has to get his shot back.
But Fultz is trying to make the point to the public that his shot isn't gone completely; it's just missing.
Lately, he's been retweeting posts that show how he used to shoot before the season started and he suffered his injury, as shown by Bleacher Report.

Those tweets Fultz is retweeting are not photos at all, as they appear per the Bleacher Report post. They're actually videos posted by Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer. Below are his original tweets, from June.

With the narrative being that Fultz's shot is broken, it's no surprise that he would want to change the collective perception of those in the media and fans. Using his social media presence is a good way to do that, especially for athletes in this day and age.
The only issue with this method is those videos are from June. It's now January, and the issue still is not being close to resolved.
Yes, Fultz may be practicing with the team and on the road to returning to the basketball court, but there's no telling how serious this shoulder injury really is and how much it will affect this shot moving forward.
Part of this whole thing is confidence. Perhaps once Fultz gets some games under his belt and some solid practices, his shot won't be an issue because he will have believed in it again, just like he did in the videos from the summer.
But until then, we'll all just have to wait and see.
