The second-round series between the Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies has not been short of controversy. It's about to get even spicier, though, entering Monday's Game 4 showdown between these two sides.

Unfortunately for Stephen Curry and the Warriors, they have just been hit with a rather unsettling omen ahead of this critical matchup. This comes in the form of referee John Goble, who has been assigned to officiate Game 4. Apparently, Goble has quite a history with Golden State (h/t NBA Retweet on Twitter):

Losing a couple of games with the same referee could be a coincidence. However, five straight defeats can be considered a bit of a curse. This just can't be a good sign for the Warriors.

Superstition aside, however, the Warriors have a great opportunity to take a commanding 3-1 lead in this series with a win in Game 4. They will be playing on their home floor, which gives them a major advantage over Ja Morant and Co. This won't be an easy win by any means, though, and the Dubs will need to be at their very best if they hope to secure the win on Monday night.
