Lance Stephenson didn’t exactly put too much effort into his Halloween “costume” this year. The Indiana Pacers swingman claims he’s already dressed up with his costume since he’s going as “Sir Lancelot.” But instead of a sword and a suit of armor, Stephenson’s interpretation of the legendary character looks a lot like an NBA player.

After signing a three-year, $12 million deal with the Pacers last season, you’d think Stephenson would have enough money to spare to get even a halfway-decent costume for Halloween, but apparently, he couldn’t be bothered to dress up for the occasion.

Perhaps Stephenson is too busy trying to fix his struggling game. “Sir Lancelot” has been much more trick than treat thus far this season. After scoring 16 points in the season opener against the Brooklyn Nets, he’s scored just 20 points combined in his last five games.

The Pacers have been one of the more surprising teams during the first few weeks of the season. Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis have been outstanding in leading an offense that has thrived after picking up the pace. However, they still have questionable depth and will need “Sir Lancelot” to save them by providing much better production off the Pacers bench.
