Indiana Pacers star guard Victor Oladipo didn't seem likely to play in the NBA restart, but things are apparently looking better with each passing moment.

After initially ruling himself out, the superstar walked some of it back, explaining how he can join the Pacers in the Orlando bubble, potentially making a playoff push in the process.

“I feel like if my body keeps trending up, there's a strong possibility that I might play. I'm definitely trying to. I'm coming out here and working hard every day, trying to help my team,” said the Pacers guard.

Moreover, he also explained why he initially ruled himself out in the first place.

“Be cognizant of the fact that I am human…. even superheroes have kryptonite.”

This resulted in some head scratching from Pacers beat writers.

Whatever the reasonings or happenings here, the Pacers will clearly want Victor Oladipo to play if he's healthy enough. Whether or not he's telling white lies really doesn't matter so much.

It will be interesting to see what happens next. The NBA season is scheduled to start in a couple of weeks, leaving the Pacers only a small window to find out if Oladipo plans or playing or not.
