The Indiana Pacers cruised to an easy victory on Wednesday against the shorthanded Los Angeles Clippers, with a final score of 116-92. However, one of the more memorable moments of the contest actually had nothing to do with basketball.

At the midway point of the third quarter, an uninvited intruder in the form of a bat caused a disturbance that required a stoppage of play. Pacers forward Bojan Bogdanovic decided to try and take matters into his own hands (or feet, rather) by attempting to hit the flying mammal with a roundhouse kick:

The bat turned out to be too quick for Bogdanovic, but to be fair to him, he was able to exhibit his on-point roundhouse form. Pacers big man Myles Turner also joined in on the action as he too tried to kick the bat — to no avail as well, of course.

As a side note, we will need to give props to the cameraman here for capturing the high-speed flight of the bat for a good minute or so. He put his keen sense of sight to work and made sure that the camera was on the creature throughout the most part of the ordeal.

As for the game, it was a pretty one-sided contest, as Bojan Bogdanovic led the Pacers to a routine victory against the Clippers. The 29-year-old scored a game-high 29 points on a very efficient 12-of-19 from the floor. He also added three 3-pointers, seven rebounds, an assist, and three steals in 32 minutes of action.
