With the recent news of Aaron Rodgers testing positive for COVID-19, the Green Bay Packers will be without their star quarterback against the Kansas City Chiefs. His Week 10 status is up in the air as well, as Rodgers is not vaccinated, meaning he must sit out for at least 10 days. Aaron Jones reacts to the situation.
According to Ryan Wood, Aaron Jones was asked about Aaron Rodgers' and his decision to not receive the COVID-19 vaccination. It appears Jones sticks by his teammate and has his back regardless of the situation, claiming that Rodgers is, “100 percent committed to this team.”
Aaron Jones says he does not believe Aaron Rodgers' decision to not vaccinate against COVID-19 was a selfish decision, even if it means he misses an extra game. He says Rodgers is team leader and "100 percent committed to this team."

Furthermore, Aaron Jones was asked if he knew that the Packers' quarterback was unvaccinated. His answer was, “That's not for me to say. I believe that's HIPPA,” per Justis Mosqueda.

A bit of an odd answer as knowing whether someone is simply vaccinated or not doesn't necessarily fall under the HIPPA guidelines. Either way, Aaron Jones doesn't seem negatively impacted by the loss of Aaron Rodgers for one, potentially two games. This is a crucial part of the season, as teams are starting to pull away in the playoff race.
Luckily for the Green Bay Packers, they have a comfortable lead over their NFC North rivals. They can actually afford to lose a game or two in Rodgers' absence. Of course, winning is important, but maintaining a lead on their division rivals increases the Packers' chances of making the postseason.
For now, Green Bay must prepare for the Kansas City Chiefs without Aaron Rodgers. Jordan Love will have a chance to show off his skill set, giving Packers fans a glimpse into the future. Additionally, we should see Aaron Jones play a featured role, as this team will rely on the run game with Rodgers out of the lineup.
We'll see how it plays out, but the Packers are in a comfortable position for the playoffs. They shouldn't be stressing too much about Rodgers' current unavailability.
