Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers understands the challenge that awaits them when they play the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round on Saturday, but he is confident they can get over their incoming challenge.

Speaking on the Pat McAfee Show Tuesday, Rodgers opened up on what he thinks will be the key for the Packers to overcome the 49ers–brimming with confidence after taking down the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card.

Past the record and the talents in each team, Rodgers admitted that in crucial playoff games like the one they'll be having in the weekend, it is all about “execution” and stepping up at the right moments.

“When it comes down to these games it's all about the execution in those moments and which guys can step up and make those big time plays to get you over the hump,” Rodgers shared.

Of course that is easier said than done. After all, it's pretty rare to actually see a perfect game when the winning team never commits any mistake. In the NFL playoffs where every play matters and every second counts, one mistake could spell doom for one team–just ask the Cowboys about that!

Nonetheless, Rodgers has been here before and he appears to be better mentally and physically as they head to the contest. Green Bay has lost to the San Francisco franchise in their last three playoff meetings, so there is that extra motivation to end the streak.

Hopefully, though, Rodgers and the Packers can get the job done.
