The Green Bay Packers and Rodgers finally have an understanding and a deal to make things official… Amari Rodgers that is. Sorry, Aaron Rodgers fans!

Green Bay has finally signed the 21-year-old wide receiver after some delay in their negotiation. Full details of the deal were not disclosed, but it came as a good news for the team as they can now head to training camp with all their 2021 rookies under contract.

Rodgers–the Packers' third-round pick at 85th overall during last May's annual rookie selection–was the last Green Bay rookie to sign a contract with the team.

While Packers fans will be happy to see the deal happen, it's not exactly the “A. Rodgers” update they want to hear. Aaron Rodgers' future with the team remains murky at best, and it's worrying that training camp may start without the legendary quarterback.

According to the latest reports, the veteran QB is “working” on his own ready to play football–which means he could probably join the Packers anytime he wishes should his issues with the team be resolved.

However, it is also worth noting that there have been talks about Rodgers possibly retiring amid his frustration with the Packers that generated a lot of trade buzz.

There is still no clarity regarding the future of Aaron Rodgers, both with the Packers in the NFL. Nonetheless, everyone should have an answer to that as training camp nears and the 2021 campaign gets closer.
