The Green Bay Packers have not had much to hang their hat on in this primetime showdown with the San Francisco 49ers. Fortunately, wide receiver Davante Adams was finally able to give them something to cheer about.

Adams was able to take the pitch from quarterback Aaron Rodgers around the end and into the end zone to get the Packers on the scoreboard, via PFF:

This was some pretty nifty playcalling from head coach Matt LaFleur. Interestingly enough, this was the first time that Adams has managed to find paydirt in the entire 2019 NFL season. He was even able to follow it up with a successful two-point conversion on the next play.

Adams made his return from a toe injury two games ago and has provided a much-needed spark in the Packers' offense. Unfortunately, it may be too little too late after the 49ers were already able to build up such a huge deficit.
