Have you ever wanted to own a piece of the Carolina Panthers' history? Well, thanks to a recent posting on eBay, now you can!

According to the Charlotte Observer, the listing on the popular online bidding site reads “2015 Superbowl 50 Carolina Panthers World Championship Players Issued 10k Ring.” The price, as of this writing, is $27,500.

The listing says that the ring is a size 16, and weighs just over two ounces. However, it's not clear which player listed the ring for sale, as the listing doesn't have the player's name.

However, it may be easy to deduce who the ring — presuming it's legitimate, of course, which it seems to be — belongs to. These rings, which were made by the Jostens Company, were handed out during a special ceremony in 2016 at the Bank of America Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

All one would have to do is look at the team's line-up to see who, ultimately, could wear a size 16 ring.

And what an impressive ring it was:

“[The rings] feature a custom aquamarine stone and 77 diamonds totaling 1.35 carats, set in 10-karat white gold. A pair of marquise-cut diamonds, representing the Panthers’ two NFC titles, flank the Panthers’ logo at the top of the ring. The rings also included the [team's] “Keep Pounding” motto, along with an image of the NFC championship trophy and a 3D rendering of the stadium.”

In 2016, the team lost Super Bowl 50 to the Denver Broncos. So, given the money troubles of some of the NFL players post-career, could someone be selling their ring to simply survive?
