The New England Patriots have had a number of contests wherein they did not exactly look to be at the top of their game from the get-go. This is something that has not escaped the watchful eye of critics and analysts alike, and as expected, the same can be said for Pats head coach Bill Belichick.

Nevertheless, Belichick still seemed a tad annoyed when asked about his team's knack for slow starts. This then prompted the veteran head coach to turn up the sarcasm in his response:

“Thanks for pointing that out,” Bill Belichick said, via CBS Boston. “I appreciate it.”

Despite his rather satirical opening statement, Belichick still provided a proper answer to the question:

“We’ve been working on it. We’ve been working on it literally every day,” Patriots coach Bill Belichick said. “So, we’ll keep working on it and see if we can get get better results here and move ahead.”

While the 68-year-old no longer went into detail as to how exactly they were addressing this ongoing issue, he did guarantee that this is something they are not taking lightly.

Following Sunday's 20-17 victory over the Arizona Cardinals, the Patriots have now won three out of their last four games. They will be back in action on Sunday to take on the Los Angeles Chargers for Week 13. The Chargers haven't exactly been killing it of late, so this would be a great opportunity for New England to try and take this game right out of the gate.
