Minicamp for the New England Patriots is underway with both Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski in the fold. Despite the all speculation and the absence of Brady during OTAs, the five-time Super Bowl champion is back at work with no one happier than head coach Bill Belichick.

On Tuesday, Belichick talked about having all of his players at minicamp and what his relationship is like with the future Hall of Famer. As per usual, the stoic head coach didn't provide too much insight on his feelings about the situation but maintained the relationship with his superstar quarterback has never really been a problem.

As expected, Brady's arrival is the hot topic with minicamp getting started on Monday. Belichick talked about whether the absence of the iconic quarterback has stunted the preparation for the upcoming season, via Andrew Siciliano of NFL Network.

The relationship between Brady and Belichick will be put to the test during the upcoming 2018 NFL season if things start to head in the wrong direction for the perennial Super Bowl title contenders. These two iconic figures in the NFL have been able to stay focused throughout their time together in New England as they've been arguably the best quarterback-head coach duo in league history, but they've yet to struggle, and that'll pose a new challenge if it happens this season or in the near future.

At this point, the Patriots are expected to continue being legitimate contenders with the return of Brady and Gronkowski despite the departures of Brandin Cooks, Nate Solder, and Danny Amendola. Although the team may look a bit different offensively, it's hard to a doubt a team that always seems to figure it out in one way or another.

However, it remains to be seen whether internal issues may get the best of this team and lead to the end of an era in New England.
