Patriots star running back Damien Harris has cleared concussion protocol. According to Around The NFL, he is expected to play Thursday night against Atlanta.

Harris first entered concussion protocol when he suffered a head injury in Week 9, taking him off of the field in the middle of the fourth quarter. Before the injury, Harris ran for 30 yards and a touchdown, contributing to the Pats' 24-6 victory in Carolina.

Also back from concussion protocol for the New England Patriots is wide receiver Gunner Olszewski. Both sat out for Week 10's dominating victory over the Browns 45-7.

Bill Belichick and the Patriots are looking to Thursday night's primetime game in Atlanta. The Pats are on a four game winning streak and sit just below the Buffalo Bills for the top seat in the AFC East.

Having Damien Harris back on the field will be a great advantage for Belichick. He is first in rushing yards for the Pats with 547 total yards. He is also tied for the most touchdowns scored this season at 7 with tight end Hunter Henry.

The Falcons will attempt to upset the Pats and bump their record up to 0.500 Thursday night. They are in last place in the NFC South, which is currently owned by the reigning champs of Brady and the Tampa Bay Bucs.
