The New England Patriots played an ugly game on Sunday morning as they lost to the Indianapolis Colts 10-6. It was a mess throughout the entire contest and nothing went right for Bill Belichick's squad.

Many are losing faith in Belichick's abilities as a head coach, despite the fact he's a future Hall of Famer. However, star center David Andrews still trusts his longtime coach, per Chad Graff of The Athletic.

“David Andrews on Bill Belichick after this 2-8 start: ‘I have a lot of confidence in him. I believe in what he says, what he does because I know it's helped me out in my career and turned me into a better football player.'”

It makes sense why Andrews still believes in Bill Belichick as he's been playing for the Patriots for his entire career. He has three Super Bowl rings playing in New England so there's no real reason for him to not have faith in Belichick.

Even so, this Patriots team needs some serious help. The offense can't get anything going whatsoever. And as usual, the defense looks just fine. I mean, they held the Colts to just 10 points. Usually that's good enough to secure a win.

As of now, it appears the 2023 season is lost for New England. The future is unclear right now as Bill Belichick's tenure with the Patriots hangs in the balance. Meanwhile, Mac Jones hasn't looked like the franchise quarterback the team was hoping he'd be when they drafted him.

So, shoutout to David Andrews for still having confidence in his head coach. Even if everything is starting to fall apart.
