The New England Patriots spent a first-round pick on N'Keal Harry for a reason. They needed a playmaker. In his limited time playing in Foxborough, he has done just that.

Harry, after coming back from the injured reserve, has only played two games in the NFL. He has caught four of his eight targets for 28 yards and a touchdown. Last week, in a Week 12 win over the Dallas Cowboys, he caught the only touchdown of the game.

Harry reeled-in an impressive back-shoulder catch for the touchdown. In doing so, he won the heart of his teammate, fellow wide receiver Julian Edelman. On Instagram, Edelman proclaimed Harry to be a wizard, saying, “You're a wizard, Harry.”

Edelman, Harry, Jakobi Meyers, and Matthew Slater made up a patchwork receiving corps for the Patriots' win over the Cowboys. Nevertheless, they got it done. Edelman was impressed by both Harry and Meyers, who are both rookies.

It was great,” Edelman said, via Isaiah Houde of the Patriots Wire. “Jakobi made some really good plays, really great plays. Which he does in practice. N’Keal made that same play in practice. It was good to see him go out and translate practice into the game and get some confidence. That’s not easy for a young group like that, with no one behind them, to go out and compete against a really good football team in a rainstorm and have them go out and make plays. It was awesome to have ’em make plays.”

Moving forward, Edelman and Co. will need to see more wizard-like plays from Harry, as the Patriots try to go for back-to-back Super Bowls. First, they must beat the 7-4 Houston Texans on Sunday Night Football.
