If you haven't heard already, Brady is going to test free agency for the first time in his illustrious career. Some people are of the belief that the future Hall of Famer is guaranteed to return to New England. On the contrary, there's a legitimate chance that Brady ends his career elsewhere.
Even Edelman, who is close with Brady, knows that there's a scenario that involves Brady leaving the Patriots. Although that may be true, Edelman isn't going to waste an opportunity to show his support for Brady.
Of course, Edelman could be selling shirts to provide some humor to the situation. At the same time, he could be realizing that he could be catching passes from someone besides Brady, for the first time in his career next season.
On Saturday, Edelman and Brady were seen together at the Carrier Dome to watch Syracuse versus North Carolina. While watching the men's basketball game, Edelman muttered the words “he's coming back” when the camera panned to him. Then, Brady proceeded to mouth a response and fans are trying to decipher what he said.
Despite being 42-years-old, Brady is going to have a decent market in free agency. Before Brady makes his decision, Edelman wants to make sure he does everything he can to keep his quarterback in Foxborough.
