New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman is listed as questionable for Week 7, but he's expected to travel with the team to Chicago this weekend. According to Patriots beat reporter Jeff Howe, Edelman is recovering from a heel injury he suffered earlier this week.

A good amount of the Patriots skill players are listed as questionable as they head into a much anticipated matchup with the Chicago Bears. However, most of them are still expected to play. Josh Gordon has been listed as questionable with a hamstring injury since he arrived in New England, but he's played every week. In fact, he's been increasing his snap count and targets with each game.

Julian Edelman has only played two games in the 2012-19 season. His return this season made it his first time playing for the Patriots since the 2016-17 season. In his two appearances, Edelman has recorded 11 receptions for 111 yards and a score. He's been just the kind of boost their offensive needed, at least in order to avoid overusing Rob Gronkowski in the passing game.

Gordon's development has helped the team more and more. He's just learning the system a little better each day. Meanwhile, the Patriots have also gotten a lot from Sony Michel as well. However, Michel has been limited in practice this week, and is listed as questionable.

There's no telling if these players are actually battling threatening injuries or not. If they are, they'll need every bit of strength they have on Sunday, as the Bears have one of the league's most physical defenses.
