The big matchup to watch heading into the New England Patriots and Jacksonville Jaguars was Rob Gronkowski against Jacksonville's secondary.

Gronkowski struggled to get open, and Tom Brady struggled to get him the ball which led him to finish with only two catches for 15 yards. After the game, Gronk admitted that the Jaguars did do a good job covering him.

“They did a good job overall,” Gronkowski said of the Jags’ coverage via The Boston Herald. “I just have to watch the film, how they did it. They’ve got good players. I have to play better. They did a good job. They’re a good team.”

The Jaguars seemed to be overly physical with Gronkowski, and it's a big reason that they looked to keep him in check. The Patriots tight end noted how physical they were but didn't want to make excuses for his poor play.

“It is what it is. Got to deal with it, got learn how to get off it,” Gronkowski said. “Just another thing I have to learn to deal with.”

As much as the Patriots struggled as a team, Gronkowski knows it's a long season, and the team needs to move on. It was only one loss and chances are high they probably can get another shot at them in the playoffs.

“We just have to put this one behind us and bounce back,” he said.

The Patriots next game will be on Sunday night football against a hungry Detriot Lions team looking for their first win.
