The New England Patriots have come under much scrutiny over the last few days after a thorough report by ESPN detailed some deep internal issues in the organization centered on the relationship between head coach Bill Belichick, quarterback Tom Brady, and owner Robert Kraft.

In light of that, Brady stated during a Saturday night interview with Jim Gray on Westwood One Radio that he built a strong and positive relationship in the organization throughout his 18-year NFL career, according to Ryan Hannable of WEEI.

Brady hasn't been one to detail much concerning his personal standing within the organization but has always spoken quite highly about management and the coaching staff. He has developed strong relationships with many in and around the team throughout his nearly two decades in the NFL.

The 40-year-old has been arguably the most dependable player in the league over his career that has continued into his 18th season. However, there has been a focus shifted away from the field as issues had arisen with his trainer Alex Guerrero that two months saw him be removed getting access to other players on the team.

This has reportedly created internal tension that has led many to believe that the pairing of Belichick and Brady are the final year. There is also speculation that it may have contributed to Belichick cutting ties with backups Jacoby Brissett earlier in the season and Jimmy Garoppolo just prior the trade deadline.

All of this has created a sense that it's something that could boil over into many internal changes in the organization. In the meantime, the Patriots have decided to downplay any legitimacy to the story while trying to shift the focus back to the football field.

With New England back in action next week for the divisional round, this could become a huge topic of discussion around the team. There could be plenty more to come on this front the upcoming days.
