Tom Brady will turn 42 years old in just over a month and is coming off his record sixth Super Bowl win.

So he's starting to slow down, right?

Of course not. He's Tom Brady. He even stopped for a minute to post a photo and take a fun shot at ESPN's Max Kellerman in the process. The photo shows that he threw a ball 61 MPH and has the message “He's Gonna Fall Off A Cliff” written over it, which was what Kellerman said about Brady said in 2016. Kellerman that day also said Brady would “become a bum in short order.”

Even if Father Time is undefeated, the six-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback has already exceeded expectations beyond the typical expiration date of past players at his position.

For reference, Patrick Mahomes threw a ball at 60 miles per hour at the NFL Scouting Combine and Josh Allen was clocked at 62.

Of course, Brady has not become a bum. In fact, he's led the Patriots to Super Bowls in two of the three seasons since Kellerman's prediction and was named the NFL's MVP in 2017.

Without knowing the throwing conditions or anything like that, I'd say it appears Brady's is as strong as ever. And it'll get put to good use this season.

The Patriots recently added first-round draft pick N’Keal Harry, Demaryius Thomas, Maurice Harris and Dontrelle Inman to a receiving corps that already had Julian Edelman and Phillip Dorsett. There is also the possibility of the league reinstating Josh Gordon at some point in the season.
