Tom Brady spent his first 20 seasons in the NFL with the New England Patriots, but he's chosen to continue his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Despite picking the Buccaneers over the Patriots, there is a billboard thanking Brady near Gillette Stadium.

As a sixth-round pick in 2000, Brady became arguably the greatest quarterback of all-time with the Patriots. Over his legendary career, Brady won an NFL record six Super Bowls and three MVPs.

Also, for his individual numbers, he contributed 74,571 yards and passing touchdowns in New England. For nearly two decades, with Brady at the helm, the Patriots dominated the AFC East, winning the division in 18 of his 20 seasons.

It should be noted that one of the two seasons they didn't win the division came in 2008. Of course, that was when Brady suffered a season-ending knee injury.

There's no doubt the fans in Foxborough saw plenty of success with Brady leading the offense. Therefore, the fans are paying their respects by giving Brady a proper send-off as he leaves New England.

Even though Brady is leaving, the Patriots still have Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick running the everyday operations. Given that, they are likely more prepared for Brady's exit than most teams would be in this situation.

Still, even for fans of other teams, it's still surreal to imagine Brady playing for a team besides the Patriots next season. While Brady makes his way to Tampa Bay, the fans in New England want him to realize how much he truly meant to them.
