New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is still accomplishing new feats even after spending nearly two decades atop the highest level. However, this time the accomplishment is a bit different, as Brady is currently set to go into a contract year for the first time in his NFL career.

Not only that, but there is reportedly no new deal looming at this point in time between the two sides.

“NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported Monday on Inside Training Camp Live that ‘no new deal is on the horizon at this point.”‘

This hardly comes as a major surprise, though, as Brady more or less confirmed that there were no ongoing talks between he and the Patriots last month.

“I've never really talked about my contract or anything like that so I don't really want to start doing that now,” Brady previously told reporters at mandatory minicamp back in June, via NFL.com.

Of course, Brady and company are coming off of yet another Super Bowl title, the sixth of the future Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback's career. Making a whopping nine trips to the Super Bowl over the years, it is hard to believe that the Patriots won't eventually find a way to extend Brady for as long as he wishes to remain in New England. Not only that, but the veteran signal caller is obviously still more than effective under center considering he just led his team to yet another title.

Brady has also said numerous times that he does not plan on hanging up his cleats anytime soon.
