New Orleans Pelicans talisman Anthony Davis is considered day-to-day moving forward after suffering a groin injury, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. Davis suffered a left adductor strain and further examination revealed no structural damage, according to the team.

The Brow has been ruled out for today's game against the Golden State Warriors, but will likely come down to a morning report or a game-time decision to make him suit up moving forward.

Dante Cunningham took over in his absence, registering eight points, 12 rebounds, and a blocked shot in a Sunday night 123-116 win over the Portland Trail Blazers, he's expected to assume the same role today against the defending champs.

Davis first suffered the injury during Friday's game against the Utah Jazz when he was battling for a rebound. The Pelicans initially called it a groin injury, then a left pelvis one — with this ultimate diagnosis being the most specific one to date.

The 24-year-old has battled plenty of injuries throughout his five-and some seasons with the New Orleans, currently the eighth-leading scorer and eighth-leading rebounder this season, averaging 25.2 points and 11 rebounds per game in 21 games in 2017-18.

Frontcourt partner DeMarcus Cousins went on a tear during his absence, posting 38 points and eight rebounds as Davis watched from the sidelines.
