New Orleans Pelicans combo guard E'Twaun Moore believes small forward Brandon Ingram has the potential to be one of the best players in the NBA.

The Pelicans acquired Ingram from the Los Angeles Lakers in the blockbuster Anthony Davis trade. Moore says the sky is the limit for Ingram.

“Oh man, I don’t think he’s come close to being the player he’s going to become in the next few years,” Moore told Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype. “I think he’s just now starting to feel out the game and feel out his own worth. He probably doesn’t even realize how good he’s going to be himself. He’s so young still. Sh**, he’s still got a lot of time.

“I think he’s really going to be nice and blossom over these next two years. That’s when you’re really going to see what he can do and be like, ‘Oh, wow!' He has so much potential. It’s through the roof. He could be one of those guys who we’re talking about as one of the best in the league.”

Brandon Ingram underwent surgery this past season to address a Deep Vein Thrombosis in his right arm. The swingman averaged 18.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists while shooting 49.7 percent from the field, 33.0 percent from beyond the arc and 67.5 percent from the free-throw line.

The Pelicans have a really nice young core of Zion Williamson, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Josh Hart and Jaxson Hayes. Veterans Jrue Holiday, JJ Redick, Derrick Favors and E'Twaun Moore will help the youngsters learn what it takes to win in the tough Western Conference.
