Jrue Holiday of the New Orleans Pelicans now believes he's a complete player after adding a 3-pointer to his arsenal.

Commenting on his 37-point night in their 116-108 win over the Detroit Pistons, Holiday said, per Oleh Kosel of SB Nation:

On his big scoring night, Jrue Holiday was 14-of-22 from the field and 6-of-10 from downtown. He also added five, rebounds, five, assists, and three steals.

Holiday is known to be one of the best defenders in the league. Last season, he was part of the NBA All-Defensive First Team and had a notable defensive performance in the playoffs against the Portland Trail Blazers.

On his stellar offensive night, Pelicans teammate Julius Randle observed that Holiday was getting everything he wanted. From scoring and dishing out the rock, Holiday made them look easy:

“Everything came extremely easy for him,” said Julius Randle. “He wasn’t forcing anything. {He} did a great job between scoring, sharing the ball, and obviously, what he does on the defensive end. It’s what we’ve come to expect from him every night.”

The Pelicans now sport a 14-14 record. They head to the TD Garden to go up against the Boston Celtics on Monday. After which, they'll have a two-game homestand against the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Miami Heat.
