New Orleans Pelicans rookie Herb Jones is quickly making a name for himself as a young and promising prospect that could make waves in the NBA in the near future. He's a pretty slick dunker too, and this was on full display on Friday night when Jones put Charlotte Hornets big man Mason Plumlee on a ruthless poster.

Even Zion Williamson was in a state of disbelief after his Pelicans teammate threw the hammer down on a hapless Plumee: (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

That's as clean as a poster slam can get. Jones went body-to-body against Plumlee and it was clearly the Pelicans rookie who came out on top in this aerial showdown. Zion definitely liked what he saw from Jones there.

For his part, it appears that Zion Williamson is now making progress in his rehab. The Pelicans superstar recently joined his team in practice, which could bode well with regard to his much-anticipated return to action. New Orleans has yet to provide a firm timetable on Zion's comeback but there's no denying that his recent appearance in practice is a positive sign. He looked relatively lean too, which likely means that he's also working to get his body back to proper game shape.
