Zion Williamson just brought Rudy Gobert to the weight room. Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans hosted Gobert's league-leading Utah Jazz on Monday and the young NOLA superstar didn't back down

The first overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft flexed his muscle on Gobert numerous times as the Pelicans shocked the Jazz with a 129-124 win, hand Utah just their eighth loss of the season.

Here's Zion playing bully ball against Gobert early in the game (via Pelicans Twitter):

We all know how powerful Zion Williamson is, but seeing him go at Rudy Gobert with ease is quite a terrifying sight. Here's another play later in the game where the Pelicans forward made the 7-foot-1 Frenchman touch the floor.

Zion wasn't done there. On this next play, the 20-year-old drove to the basket, missed and grabbed his own board. The two-time DPOY had no chance. Watch Zion activate his beast mode here (via Bleacher Report):

Williamson ended the game with 26 points on 10-17 shooting, all while grabbing 10 boards to lead the way for the Pelicans. Gobert, for his part, had a 22-9 evening and managed to swat five shots.

The Duke product has been a monster on his second season in the NBA and continues to show that he's one of the strongest athletes in the league. Standing at 6-foot-7 and weighing 280-plus pounds, it's mind-boggling to try and think of ways to stop the young Pelicans phenom.
