Almost everyone is on the Zion Williamson hype train, and he's giving everyone a reason to jump aboard. While his second-ever NBA game with the New Orleans Pelicans ended in another defeat to the Denver Nuggets, he made a case for himself as the future force of the league with another incredible performance.

Zion Williamson had another high-scoring night and converting at a scintillating percentage in his first two games. NBA Stats revealed that this mark is the highest ever achieved by a player in league history ever since the shot clock was introduced.

The Nuggets weren't able to stop Williamson from getting inside the paint and going whatever he wants. He finished the game 15 points, six rebounds, a steal, and a block.

Unfortunately, Williamson was one of the only bright spots in an overall disappointing display by the Pelicans. Brandon Ingram only made three of his 11 shot attempts, and that had a part in allowing the Nuggets to run away with the W. While Josh Hart and JJ Redick had solid nights from the bench, their efforts weren't enough to give the Pelicans the win.

However, a lot of players and fans were looking forward to what Williamson can do in the future. Even Michael Jordan himself is anxious to see what he will bring to the league moving forward.

Per Bleacher Report's Tim Daniels:

“What you saw the other night is a taste of what you're going to see going forward,” MJ told reporters. “He's still got a lot to do. But I think his passion for the game is coming through the way that he plays. That's great for the league.”

Expect him to get more and more minutes as he gets used to the size and speed of the NBA. It is only a matter of time before he truly dominates the floor with his incredible skill set.
