It's clear by now that New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson will try and dunk the basketball every chance he gets. He added another entry to his scary highlight reel on Wednesday at the expense of the hapless Phoenix Suns defense.

The Pelicans had the luxury to mess around a bit in the fourth period given their huge lead over the visiting Suns at Smoothie King Center.

Sure enough, Eric Bledsoe got creative with a left-handed toss to a streaking Williamson on the fast break. As his teammates are well aware, all it takes is one pin-point lob and Zion will do the rest.

The second-year Pelicans forward made sure to complete the highlight with an effortless alley-oop. Suns defenders already knew what was coming and didn't even bother contesting. DeAndre Ayton realized he'd probably end up in a poster if he tries a chase-down block.

Entering Wednesday's match versus Phoenix, Zion Williamson has been enjoying a strong start to his sophomore season. The former Duke standout has been averaging 23.5 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.1 steals in 18 games for the Pelicans.

He is also shooting a magnificent 58.1 percent from the field, mainly because he tries to flush it down with authority each time he is around the rim.
