Few teams in the NFL have been as busy as the Oakland Raiders this offseason. The team brought back Jon Gruden has their head coach and have made multiple moves to mold the roster in his vision leading up to the 2018 NFL Draft.

On Friday, ahead of the second round of the draft, the Raiders made another move which may indicate progress in something the team has been working on for quite some time. Oakland has restructured the contract of two-time Pro Bowl center Rodney Hudson opening up a considerable amount of cap space, according to ESPN's Field Yates.

Hudson is in the conversation for best center in the NFL. There's no question he's valued as a member of what is considered one of the better offensive lines in the league and him being willing to make this move to help the team is a great sign moving forward.

This could be a move to make way for the incoming rookies, free-agent signings, and may also be a precursor to inking perennial Pro Bowler Khalil Mack. There's been a lot of talk about Mack's pending extension and when a deal might get done.

The team's leader on defense is expected to sign a historic deal either before or after Aaron Donald of the Los Angeles Rams inks his deal, and he's well worth it becoming arguably the best defensive player in the league over the last few years.

Needless to say, the Raiders aren't done tweaking their team under Gruden while bringing in young bodies and securing the future with players like Mack getting what they deserve.
