The girlfriend of Rajon Rondo alleged that the Cleveland Cavaliers point guard pulled a gun on her and threatened to kill her during a heated dispute last week, according to TMZ. Ashley Bachelor, who is Rondo's partner and the mother of his children, reportedly filed for an emergency protective order in Louisville as a result of the incident, which she claims the children were witnesses to.

According to TMZ Sports, Bachelor claims the dispute began when Rondo was playing video games with their son. After she asked their son to fold his laundry, Rondo allegedly became enraged and began breaking things. Bachelor claims she tried to de-escalate the situation, but Rondo in turn made threats against her life.

Rondo reportedly left the home and returned 15 minutes later with a gun in his hand, according to the report from TMZ. Bachelor alleges that Rondo was demanding to see their son, who was “visibly upset.”

Bachelor explained that Rondo's parents eventually arrived at the scene and the NBA player left shortly after.

In an emergency protection order filed on May 13, Bachelor said:

“I am extremely fearful for my safety and for the safety of my children. Rajon [Rondo] has a history of volatile, erratic, explosive behavior. He is verbally, emotionally, and financially abusive. He physically hits our son and calls him names like ‘p***y' and accuses him of acting like a ‘b***h.'”

“Rajon verbally assaults our daughter. He calls her names like ‘thot, bitch, and d**khead.' Rajon has made several threats on my life, saying at various times he will shoot me or shoot up my car.”

TMZ reports that Bachelor was granted protection from Rajon Rondo for her two children, as well as herself, from a local judge in the Louisville area.

The alleged incident took place on May 11.
