Even though the players are taking swipes at one another, Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay is showing love to New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.

Opening night is in full effect for the Super Bowl, and on Monday night, players and coaches from both the Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots met at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta to answer a multitude of questions from both the hosts at NFL Network, as well as the hundreds of media members assembled.

And Sean McVay wasted no time in singing the praises of the Patriots head coach.

“To get a chance to have the platform to get a chance to be able to meet people, like Coach Belichick, that are willing to share and help. That means a lot. And when you look at these guys and what they have done in terms of consistency, where that's really the truest measure of performance, and nobody has done it better than they have over the last handful of years. And that's why you have so much respect and appreciation for them.”

While Bill Belichick has a bit of a reputation, in the NFL, for being a bit of a curmudgeon, he's still someone who commandeers a lot of respect from his contemporaries — and Sean McVay is no exception.

That said, Sean McVay and Bill Belichick will be showing the world a very different face come this Sunday, when the Super Bowl is in full effect. Be sure to tune in this Sunday beginning at 3:00 PM EST.
