Los Angeles Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman hasn't learned that poking and prodding Tom Brady probably isn't the best idea.

When asked whether or not Brady has lost a step this season, Robey-Coleman did not hold back in his reply that is sure to raise some hairs in the Patriots locker room, particularly on the back of Brady's neck:

“Yes. Yes. Age has definitely taken a toll,” said Robey-Coleman, according to Tyler Dunne of Bleacher Report. “For him to still be doing it, that's a great compliment for him. But I think that he's definitely not the same quarterback he was,” Robey-Coleman says. “Movement. Speed. Velocity. Arm strength. He still can sling it, but he's not slinging it as much. Whatever he was doing—because of his age and all that—he's not doing as much of that anymore. He's still doing the same things; he's just not doing as much of it. And sometimes, it's not the sharpest. But it still gets done.”

Brady has made it a point to go after all of his critics throughout these NFL playoffs and seems to be on more of a mission to prove doubters wrong this season than ever before.

The 41-year-old has heard it all year: he's too old; he's declining; the “cliff” has finally arrived.

Tom Brady responded by lighting up the Los Angeles Chargers in the Divisional Round of the playoffs and followed that up with a virtuoso performance against the Kansas City Chiefs, putting together a couple of vintage Brady drives in the fourth quarter and overtime to lead the New England Patriots to victory.

Not a smart move, Nickell.
