For eight seasons with the San Antonio Spurs, Danny Green finally gets to turn over a new leaf with the Toronto Raptors.
Included in the Kawhi Leonard trade that saw DeMar DeRozan, Jakob Poeltl, and a 2019 first round pick to the Spurs, Green is adapting nicely to the new season in his career. When it comes to starting over, it just makes sense to do it with a new look as well.
Moreover, a tweet from Raptors Nation shows a video of the defensive wing sporting a new hairdo. Rightfully captioned:

Seen sitting in a barber’s chair and seemingly done with the cut, Green is now sporting braided weaves with a top knot.
With all the wild things that have been going in the offseason, from trades and signings, Green’s haircut would not be the least surprising thing in the league.
Despite some crazy stuff going on in the NBA, what matters is the task at hand, the upcoming season.
As the season quickly approaches, the Raptors are expected to get over their dreaded postseason hump with the new acquisitions in their roster. If everything goes according to plan, they get to be the top team in the East and they may get a well-deserved Finals appearance.
If Danny Green’s haircut is a sign of things to come, new and strange things are in store for the Raptors. Will it be beneficial for the team moving forward? Only time will tell how things unfold this season.
The three-and-D specialist averaged 8.6 points on a 36 percent clip from downtown, along with 3.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists, and 1.1 blocks per game last season for the Spurs.
