The Toronto Raptors have been on a roll, winning their last four games and 11 of their last 12, securing a two-game lead over the Boston Celtics. With a 45-17 record and 20 games left in the schedule, the probability to reach 60 wins for the first time in franchise history is something that has made the rounds for Raptors faithful

For leading scorer DeMar DeRozan, the 60-win milestone isn't far from their reach.

“Hell yeah. Why not? Yeah. For sure,” said DeRozan, according to TSN's Josh Lewenberg. “It's never been done here. Not many people get an opportunity to win 60-plus games… That's big. But, on top of that, you have to prove why you're a 60-win team. As long as we continue to do what we need to do, hopefully we'll get there.”

The Raptors would need to win 15 of their last 20 games of the season to accomplish the feat, but they will have to face conference rivals in the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics, playing both of them twice through the last stretch of the season — games that could make or break their position as the top seed in the East. They will also face the team with the best overall record in the Houston Rockets on Friday.

Toronto adapted a new offensive philosophy under coach Dwane Casey, one that has proven fruitful throughout the season — with solid contributions by the hot hands of their starters and a consistent bench unit that is amongst one of the best in the league.
