In Game 2 of the NBA Finals, Toronto Raptors superstar small forward Kawhi Leonard went a perfect 16-of-16 from the free-throw line.

By doing so, Leonard set an NBA record for most free throws in an NBA Finals game without a miss.

Leonard finished Game 2 with 34 points, but the Raptors lost by five against the Golden State Warriors. The series is now tied at 1-1, with Games 3 and 4 will be at Oracle Arena.

Leonard is shooting 88.3 percent from the charity stripe during the 2019 postseason. The Raptors swingman has arguably been the best player in the entire playoffs, averaging 30.9 points, 9.1 rebounds and 3.9 assists.

For the Raptors to win at least one game at Golden State, guys other than Leonard need to play well. The main reason Toronto won Game 1 is because Marc Gasol and Pascal Siakam played great. Both players were subpar in Game 2.

As all superstars do, Leonard has been getting to the free throw line all postseason. He's averaging nine free throw attempts per game. The two-time Defensive Player of the Year is putting constant pressure on the Warriors' defense and forcing them into foul trouble.

That will need to continue for the rest of the series if the Raptors want to win the title.
