Toronto Raptors big man Serge Ibaka earlier expressed his belief in how his team can match up “perfectly” with the league-best Milwaukee Bucks. Toronto veteran point guard Kyle Lowry was asked to share his two cents worth about the matter, and the six-time All-Star had a somewhat mixed reaction to the same.

Speaking to Joe Vardon of The Athletic, Lowry refused to comment on Ibaka's statement directly. After a bit of a chuckle, Lowry opted to deviate from the query, and instead focus on how hard the Raptors have been working this season:

“We believe in what we’ve done, we believe in the work we’ve put in and we understand that we have a job to do on the court and off the court,” Lowry said. “And that’s what we do. We do our jobs.”

While Lowry did not exactly second Ibaka's earlier statement, he did seem to imply that he does not disagree with his Raptors teammate's thoughts. This is just typical Lowry refusing to talk smack, under the premise that he will instead just let his game do the talking.

For what it's worth, Lowry and the Raptors have history on their side. They defeated the Bucks last season in the Eastern Conference Finals, en route to a memorable title win. Then again, reigning Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard is no longer in Toronto, so as it appears, the odds will be in the favor of Milwaukee if and when these two teams meet in the playoffs.

The Raptors are currently second in the East, with six and a half games behind the league-leading Bucks.
