Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry had a sensational performance in Game 2 of their first-round playoff series against the Orlando Magic. Funny enough, he made sure the stats say the same thing.
Lowry was criticized over the weekend for his poor performance in their playoffs opener. While he did record seven rebounds and eight assists, he went scoreless in the game.
The 33-year-old guard didn’t allow that to happen again in Game 2. He was on fire right from the start, eventually finishing with 22 points, four rebounds, seven assists and two steals to help the Raptors secure a 111-82 victory.
After the showdown, Lowry went to the scorers table to check out the box score and, of course, to confirm that he made a contribution this time around.

Lowry was obviously just fooling around, perhaps in response to the recent backlash he received for his Game 1 setback.
The Raptors were full of praise for Kyle Lowry after the game. While most of his teammates expected him to bounce back, they still didn’t hold back their admiration for the five-time All-Star.
Head coach Nick Nurse says Lowry was ‘at his finest’ in the contest, while superstar forward Kawhi Leonard commended him for showing what a real professional does when the going gets tough.
