Toronto Raptors center Marc Gasol wants you to know that Spaniards aren't afraid when it comes to drinking wine.

At the Raptors' championship parade on Monday, Toronto fans were clamoring for Gasol to chug a whole bottle of wine. The big man didn't shy away from the challenge.

What a season it was for Gasol. The All-Star center was acquired from the Raptors at the February trade deadline from the Memphis Grizzlies, a franchise he played 769 games for. Gasol's transition to the Raptors wasn't always smooth, but he's now an NBA champion, joining his brother Pau Gasol.

Marc averaged 12.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists for the Raptors in the NBA Finals against the Golden State Warriors. The three-time All-Star and former Defensive Player of the Year shot 44.7 percent from the field, 31.6 percent from beyond the arc and 92.3 percent from the free-throw line.

By adding an NBA title to his résumé, Marc Gasol has pretty much locked up a spot in the NBA Hall of Fame. It's incredible to see how far Gasol has come since he made his NBA debut back in 2008. The Raptors wouldn't have won the championship this season without the services of Gasol. The 34-year-old has a player option worth $25,595,700 next season with the team. Depending on what Kawhi Leonard does, Gasol may or may not pick up that option.
